Classes are meant to be fun and encourage confidence while introducing basic dance movement and musicality. Students will work on flexibility, self-expression, coordination and participation in group activities. As students’ progress the classes will become more structured as we introduce dance positions, proper posture and nomenclature. All children's classes require enrollment for the season, and tuition includes a $50 non-refundable registration fee. Students must be 2½ years old by August of each year. For ages 2½-4, all of the classes are ballet.
At this level, students will be placed in classes according to their demonstrated skills and maturity.
Beginner to Advanced classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theater.
All children's classes require enrollment for the full season. However, if your child does not enjoy their dance class and you would like to cancel, a 30-day written notice of cancellation is required. There is a $50 registration fee required per year. Registration fees, tuition, and performance fees are non-refundable. If your child misses a class, tuition will not pro-rated or refunded. TADA is not responsible for lost or stolen property in the building or anywhere on the premises. If your child has excessive absences leading up to the Spring dance performance they may not be able to perform, and the performance fee will not be refunded.
When you register, you must pay the 1st tuition payment plus the $50 registration fee. There are a total of 10 tuition payments for classes that meet August 2020-May 2021. Tuition is not prorated based on the number of weeks in a month. For example, months with 5 weeks or months with 3 weeks have the same monthly charge.
Yes, if space is available in a class, we welcome student registrations throughout the year. The tuition payments reflect the annual tuition costs. If your child enrolls after the season has begun, the tuition will be reduced to reflect your child joining us late in the season. If your child joins after February 1st, they will not be able to participate in our May performance, but they're welcome to dance with us.
